Pineau des Charentes Blanc

The Pineau Blanc is made with 100% Colombard grapes. It is ample with delicate notes of wood. Touches of orange peel honey and bergamot gives it an aromatic bouquet. It has aged for 5 years in oak barrels. It is a fine companion to Foie Gras and dishes with cream: scallops, fish (monkfish, turbot, sea bass) and white meats. It goes well with cheeses, especially Goat Cheese and Roquefort. As a desert wine, it is a perfect match for patisseries and ice creams with delicate flavours: vanilla, peach, pear, apricot, almond and honey.
